Introduction

You heard it right, the dark days of winter are over! Spring fashion trends are always the most exciting for me. Everyone has recovered from the holidays, we’ve accepted that our New Year’s resolutions have already been broken beyond repair, and we are ready to take off our drab winter clothes and have some fun.
This spring and summer, people are expected to travel and party in numbers even greater than in 2019. Last year was all about black pleather pants and athleisure, so it only makes sense that this year brings shiny metallics, feminine silhouettes, and baggy, oversized styles that make running errands as comfortable as it is stylish.

Floor Length Skirts
Skirts are hitting the floor this season! Midis and minis are always chic but there’s nothing quite as freeing as a long skirt.
From denim to tulle to breezy cotton, this style looks great in every style. Pleated and A-line styles look polished and pretty while flowy, ruffled skirts give you that effortless boho look.
Dress it up or down, with crop tops, denim jackets, blazers, or button-ups. Tuck in a slouchy sweatshirt during the chilly nights for an effortless look. This spring is all about color, so don’t be afraid of choosing a skirt that is bright and loud!
Busy Hemlines
Things are getting interesting near the ends of skirts and dresses. Add some texture with hemlines that are ruffled, flounced, asymmetric, or fringed – the only thing out is boring!
Seeing Metallic
Our clothes are going space age – metallic styles are everywhere. From styles that are only for the bravest, like moon boots, and tamer looks that are perfect for running errands, like silver sneakers. Pop on some elegant gold earrings to finish off any outfit.
A sparkling pair of metallic heels, shiny mules, or glittering platform oxfords will elevate any outfit and even more surprisingly, they go with everything! A metallic coat looks chic while you survive the last thawing of winter.
(If the shine isn’t enough for you, add sequins! Sequin metallic dresses are taking over the red carpet and it won’t be long until we see it in the neighborhood bars)
Bright Colors
Spring runways truly popped with bright colors – vivid greens, cheery yellows and oranges, and intense pinks have taken over.
Choose how daring you want to be. Monochrome green suits and a bright color combo with pink bottoms and an orange top are both fun ways to show off your hues.
Embellished Jeans
Denim is never going to leave our wardrobes but this staple can always be updated! This season’s jeans are decked out with colorful appliqués, including comics, flowers, emojis, and fruit. For a more subdued look, try “painted-on” flower details or embroidered pockets.
Anything with texture will turn the “cool girl” uniform of denim with a plain tee into something a little more interesting.
Sheer Layering
Bare some skin without showing it all. Add the illusion of the boudoir by layering sheer tops, dresses, skirts, over crop tops, shorts, and slips.
Mix causal with sexy by throwing a sweatshirt over a long slip skirt or a sheer shirt under a structured blazer. While the sheer pieces may look intimidating, the right layering keeps you as covered up as you’d like.
Cargo pants
Women everywhere, the day is finally here – the roomy pockets we’ve always dreamed of have arrived! Cargo pants are in a big way, now in more colors and baggier than ever.
Channel your inner adventurer with a pair of comfy versatile pants that look amazing with a crop top and jacket. Try them in patterns, dip-dyed, and in gradient color schemes, or stick with classic green.
